Taylor's Closet was founded by amazing South Florida teen, Lindsay Giambattista in 2005. She wanted to find a way to help girls who had the passion for fashion that she did, but lacked the means to buy new clothes. Lindsay decided to open a "store" where young girls in foster care could come and "shop" for clothes in a trendy store-like environment, free of charge. The idea was to put a smile on the faces of teens in foster care, and to enable them a chance to feel "normal". Taylor's Closet puts on fashion shows and fabulous events, and it even has a permanent store in Florida for teens in foster care to enjoy. Visit www.taylorscloset.org to learn more and see how you can help too!
Ask Girl applauds Lindsay Giambattista for her success and is excited to see Taylor's Closet grow to help girls in foster care all over the United States!
